International Symposium on Transnational Aging: Current Insights and Future Challenges.

We are happy to announce the upcoming International Symposium on Transnational Aging that will take place at the Institute of Education, University of Mainz September 26-27, 2012. Organized by the International Research Cluster “Transnational Social Support” and the “Transnational Social Support” Research Training Group, the symposium aims to provide an exploratory space for scholars interested in research at the intersection of aging and transnationalism. Participants will be selected on the basis of their working paper abstracts in which the deadline is May 15. Early stage researchers are especially encouraged to participate.
